Several military ports across the core systems have been targeted in a wave of raids this week, according to Vox Galactica.

While no structural damage was reported at any of the raid locations, system authorities confirmed that military supplies were stolen and security personnel were briefly overwhelmed during the attacks.

In several cases, investigators noted that the raids followed a coordinated pattern rather than the opportunistic strikes usually associated with piracy, prompting concerns over organised criminal activity in systems typically considered secure.

Crime correspondent Mira Bukowski writes:

“While no single faction has issued a statement to claim responsibility for the attacks, underground sources claim a rogue pirate strategist has united a coalition of pirate ships under one banner. Digital malware displaying a twin axe motif disrupted security networks during the raids, believed to be a calling card of this individual.”

Trade associations have raised the issue with local governments, warning that confidence among market operators could fall if the perpetrators are not dealt with swiftly.

For now, the affected outposts are still operating as normal. But the pattern of the attacks has left many wondering whether a more serious threat may be growing in the shadows.
