The Independent Detention Foundation confirmed yesterday that Riker-class Reformatory EVE-597 had failed to report in following its scheduled jump.

The prison ship successfully jumped from the Nones system but has not arrived at Gliese 506.2. System authorities confirm that no signs of debris have been detected.

The organisation said that the vessel EVE-597 has been in continuous service for several years and holds a prisoner transit contract covering four confirmed waypoints across independent space listed as Nones, Gliese 506.2, Evenses and Chematja.

Authorities in all four systems have confirmed that the vessel has not been identified since the report.

A spokesperson for the Foundation said that they’re treating the disappearance as “concerning” but assured that there should be no cause for alarm should anyone locate the vessel on their travels.

“EVE-597 has a good record and a good crew,” the spokesperson said. “Catastrophic mis-jumps are vanishingly rare. We’re confident that everything will be under control.”
